Reliquary is a memoir-style graphic novel about AIDS, death, my dear friend Jimmy Dohr, and walking the Camino de Santiago.  

The images below show my process to creating a page, from a rough drawing through to finished art. 

In this project, I combine scratchboard-style art (used for death or surreal events) with straight up pen and ink  representing daily life.
